You can't think about how far you have to go -- it is overwhelming. I try to just think about today and tomorrow and leave the future to take care of itself. If I keep doing this, I will eventually get to my goal. In the meantime, with every lost pound I feel better, I have more energy, and I am healthier. I don't have to get all the way to my final goal to get huge benefits from low carbing.

Welcome back I agree with Liz Do not think about how far You have to go just take Today or sometimes as I do this hour to get through. I too can get overwelmed when I think about how far I still have to go and have to remind Myself that I did not get this large in a Week and I will not lose it that fast either.
You can do this.

I wish this process were as simple as a car trip: you decide where you're going, you decide how long you want it to take to get there, and you adjust your speed accordingly. Doesn't work that way, unfortunately! I know where I want to go, and I know when I'd like to get there ... but my body, thankfully, has better sense than I do, and knows that the speed I'd shoot for would not be safe!
Hang in there, dear. We're here for you when the impatience gets to you. Goodness knows, it gets to me at least once a week! ;)
