okay, this is reeeeally getting to me now. I've been on this diet for weeks now, and apart frmo about 1 day, I still don't have more energy than i had before - and I didn't have much!

I'll admit my diet is a little unvaried:

fried bacon
fried eggs
oranges
coconut macaroons (made from egg whites, coconut, ground almonds and a little honey to taste)
chicken
tuna (not much)
salmon (not much)
beef (not much)

most days it's bacon, eggs, macaroons and oranges as the basic foods, with cold chicken wrapped in bacon as a fill-up meal for lunch. bacon I get through a hell of a lot of.

but despite the blandness, should there not be enough fat in that lot to give me some damned energy???!??

if not, how can I improve it?

Where are your vegies?

I have not read Paleothin but I have visited paleo websites and I thought paleo eating included a lot of vegies, especially in their raw state to take advantage of all those beneficial enzymes.

Maybe substiute an nice green leafy salad for a few of those oranges and macaroons.

And maybe you need more red meat. I know my body does so much better with it.

Do you get any exercise? I know when I don't exercise I feel even less energetic and motivated to exercise. It's a vicious cycle.

Are you female? If so, might be good to get your iron checked. A lot of women are anemic and don't know it. One of the symptoms is lack of energy.

Just my thoughts.

Hang in there!
