just curious what everyone does for exericse. i know montignac really recommends leisurely walks, but i feel better when i move daily! i just joined the gym again, and plan to lift weight 3 times a week, do interval cardio (read in self magazine that doing intervals burns 5 times more fat, we shall see!), and want to add occassional yoga, tae bo, and pilates. i used to take pilates classes and loved them, now have to rely on tapes. have to learn yoga from tapes too, which i hope i can do properly. and since i live near the alps, and the weather is finally warming up, i plan to hike alot. i also have some belly dancing videos, and keep meaning to try them.
what do you enjoy?

I think that you have it right on... do what you enjoy and it sounds like you have some great stuff lined up
I do weight training and 20 mins HIT cardio 4 times per week. Used to spend hours doing cardio but find I get a great workout in just 20 mins working really hard on the treadmill or cross trainer. I have only been doing weights for just under 1 year but I love, love, love it! That powerful feeling is magic, not to mention being able to help DH haul in loads of drywall and wood for our renovations! :agree:

Hi there,
Right now I'm going to Curves -30 min. circuit training for women. I do some ab excersises and some light weights for arms. planning on working my way back to some heavier weight work for legs and arms. When the weather is milder I will be resuming my walking. I do a brisk walk of 3-6 miles a day and other times walk through the woods/bush not brisk walk but more cross country would describe I guess. Also I do a lot of gardening when the weather is mild - quite heavy digging and lugging...ooh I wish I was out in the dirt right now :D
Belly Dancing - very cool

1 do at least 1 hour combined walking each week day. Plus 1.5 hour hatha flow yoga classes - at least once a week, but try for 2. This is the energetic type yoga, which is good cardio ;)
