I consume many vits/herbs with my breakfast. I am always fine
until I consume my next meal at which time I invariably get
rumblings and gas that last for about 30 minutes. Could
somebody be kind enough to explain if this is the result of my
breakfast (large bowl of oatmeal) being pushed down through my
intestines by the latter meal. or simply an irritation in my
stomach caused by the new meal mixing with the residue of the
supplements which have not yet been completely digested and
still remain in my stomach?
Thank you, Ken

Raw oatmeal is effectively a dried food which expands when
soaked up to about 3 times its dry volume. If you're eating as
much oatmeal as you can stomach you could be giving yourself
problems as it slowly swells up. Try cooking it into porridge
and then seeing how much you can eat.

How many pills does that involve?
Have you tried just eating the oatmeal and skipping the
supplements to see if there is any effect?
Do you eat the oatmeal with milk and sugar? Or just plain?
Have you tried taking digestive enzymes with your breakfast?
That might help.

Goodness. Must cost you a fortune. What illness are you
treating with this massive arsenal?

Jeez Ken, your throwing money away on those supplements. Just
take a multivitamin and eat a healthy diet. Re: gas - it may
be the flaxseed oil. Try just eating the oatmeal without the
supplements to see if you still get gas. Beans are famous for
gas creation - but I don't think oatmeal is.
