Greetings! Thought I would share my latest b-fast love! It's a cold cereal, protien shake, yogurt smoothie thing that I have daily now.
Base:
**2 scoops Just Whey Protein Shake Powder (I'm sure any type LC shake will work)
**1/4C large curd cottage cheese
**1/4C full fat yogurt (w/two or more active cultures)
**1tbsp half and half
**2 tbsp freshly milled flax seed
add one or more of the following:
**3 large strawberries (blackberry, blueberry)
**few drops vanilla extract
**few drops banana flavoring
**1tbsp sf cocoa mix
**dash cinnamon
**tbsp LC syrup
**tbsp peanut butter
Here is what fiday says about the base:
Total: 334
Fat: 16 145 44%
Sat: 6 53 16%
Poly: 0 2 1%
Mono: 2 14 4%
Carbs: 15 45 13%
Fiber: 4 0 0%
Protein: 36 143 43%
Alcohol: 0 0 0%
Not necessarily for induction, but for those of us on OWL it's a great (and very healthy) way to start the day!
