I don't sleep real well anyway (get to sleep easily but wake up in three hours or so and have trouble getting asleep again).
I'm waking up in two hours last night and the night before and not getting much sleep after that. I'm on Basic #3, Essential Oils, and Dieter's Advantage. My guess is that it's the Dieter's Advantage. Anyone else have this problem, and what did you do? Thanks in advance for your answers.

Hi Susanka
I must admit I do not recall having any problems sleeping. However, I did quickly notice that I do not require as much sleep as I used to. So perhaps, as you are a poor sleeper, that your body now needs it in shorter chunks and that it is why you are waking up after 2 hours. Hope it rights itself soon and lets you have a better nights sleep. You are more than likely to have to get up to go to the bathroom once or twice in the night anyway, because of all the water you are drinking.

Hi Susanka
I started atkins early January. In the beginning I too had sleeping problems. I don't remember how long it lasted, but I think it was a week or so. I had difficultly going to sleep and was restless for most of the night.
Now I sleep like the dead! I wake up rested a little earlier than I used to as well.
One thing I did change was that I started taking my cal/mag before going to bed at night. I'm not sure if that's what made the difference but you may want to give it a try.

Hello Susanka. This may just be part of YOUR adjustment to LCing and the changes it brings. Try to ride this out for a few more days. It's the weekend now, and if you need naps to catch up, go ahead and take them. But Monday, you may be on a different level completely.

a nice cup of peppermint tea before bed puts me out like a baby for 6 hours
