HI!

O.K. I've stuck to all the rules for going on 26 days... and I am losing.

However, sometimes I just want to eat - grazing - noshing - whatever you want to call it...

so when I can't distract myself with H2O, hot tea, or the walk around the block... is it better to overindulge on accepted fats & protein rather than carbs?

- any suggestion? Thanks, viv

You could try having a small protein and fat snack and see if it will tide you over. It's much better to have fat and protein over carbs. Carbs will just make you hungrier.
For some people artificial sweetners will cause false hunger too.

Perhaps you aren't eating enough and that is causing your hunger. Atkins isn't low calorie. Feel free to eat more at your meals, especially breakfast.

Are you really 5 feet, 5 inches? Weight is already in acceptable range if so.

I checked out your fitday. You might want to have less cheese and no peanuts and eat more food all over, especially proteins, fats and green veggies. Don't try to do Atkins low fat, it's not designed that way.
