Nit-picking. I do my workout early in the morning, first thing
when I wake up. Will training without breakfast curb my gains?

No. If you feel fine training without breakast, then it's
fine. I'd have something to eat afterwards, though.

You might consider having a swig of pre-workout drink like
grape juice mixed with whey. This could give you some more
energy and help with recovery.
