Greetings, fellow LowCarb Canadians. I'm Judith (call me Judi) van den Broek and I live the LowCarb Life over here in Victoria, on Vancouver Island (BC for you Easterners !8-).
I've been working on (and wow it's mind-boggling) getting a Co-op style business started up, since this last Spring sometime, so that LowCarb products we're all pretty well forced to order over the Internet in American dollars, with the Shipping/Exchange/Customs kafuffle, can be "group ordered" right here in this country. Well, it's officially up and running, and with Wa'il's support and assistance, there are links going up from LowCarb Canada. Check out the Online section of the Retailers database!
Meanwhile, here is the text of the bulletin I sent out yesterday to my existing email contact list:
"Here's where I'm at:
simple webpage with ordering info goes up this weekend, probably late Saturday, at http://www3.telus.net/seadrakeHome/LCFE.htm
Products I've got availability [at last!] on (I would order in case lots, "you" would order in smaller quantities, turnaround depends on what and how much you order):
ExpertFoods not/Sugar, not/Starch, not/Cereal products; LaTortilla LowCarb High-Fiber Tortillas (burrito and large sizes);
DaVinci Sugarfree (no aspartame, Splenda-sweetened) Syrups.
I would truly appreciate any and all feedback, be it today, tomorrow or early next week; especially any tips or suggestions on how to get the word out that LowCarb FoodExperts Canada (reg'd) is now "officially" up and running. Gyms? Church hall bulletin boards? EMail to your friends and acquaintances?
I would further appreciate you referring any enquiries (info, retail or wholesale; yes I'm working on wholesale as well) my way. This small business MUST pay for itself at this time; there is no 'operations' or inventory budget left after licenses, permits, etc., ad nauseum.
Hope to hear back from you, and thank you all for listening, and for your support !8-] "
Thank you all! I can be reached here (of course) or at lcfoodexperts@yahoo.com ... Judi [IslandGirl]
