In pplp the eades talk about snacking on lentil chips... I live in the middle of nowhere so if i want to have lentil chips i gotta make 'em myself.

Does anyone have a decent low-carb recipe for lentil chips or crackers?

I wonder if i ground up some lentils into a flour-like consistency if i could use the flour from that in a cracker recipe. (maybe i should have posted this in the recipe section?)

I think what the Eades are talking about are pappadums (http://images.google.com/imgres?imgurl=news.bbc.co.uk/media/images/38379000/jpg/_38379445_papadum300.jpg&imgrefurl=http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/business/2356495.stm&h=180&w=300&prev=/images%3Fq%3Dpapadum%26svnum%3D10%26hl%3Den%26lr%3D%26ie%3DUTF-8) which are an Indian lentil crisp that is deep fried or toasted over open flame. You can't make them yourself but you can make Crispy Cheese Crackers (http://forum.lowcarber.org/showthread.php?s=&threadid=55019&highlight=crispy+cheese). Other people microwave or bake sliced salami until crisp or use celery sticks, pork rinds, radishes and cucumber for crunch. You can also make low-carb bread, slice it thinly and rebake it in a low oven for crackers.
