So Iam on day three. I am eating around ten carbs a day... not intentionally,I just love leafy greens so that's my carbs... nothing else..yesterday I drank more than six and a half litres of water( I didn't make myself... I was thirsty.. very thirsty) I don't have much fat to lose... I have been reading protein power, but folowing the induction rules on The Atkins website. I have been weight lifting and walking and aqua aerobic(ing). BUT I have NEVER felt foggy headed or fatigued :exclm: :rolleyes: ( apart from normal post exercise fatigue) and I have sweet breath...Am I going to take longer to get into Ketosis because I don't have that much to lose?
Prior to going v. low carb I didn't eat bread or other refined grains and I had also stopped eating grains altogether for the most part.... Will I see results? :confused:

I am on day 4-but an not new to LC eating-I did Atkins for about 18 months(why i ever stopped is beyond me....)
I did a sort of induction a couple of weeks ago but started 'seriously' on Monday.I too had cut out all the main carbs-bread,rice,potato and pasta over the last few weeks and I suppose your results may not be as dramatic as if you had a lot to lose but to put you in the picture:
when I did Atkins last time-after initially losing about a stone, I then went 'hard core'-about 10g a day and I dropped another half stone in 2 weeks so I suppose eating only 10g will really throw your body in to Ketosis-then you can increase them because for me it kick-started my weight loss and I went back up to about 25/30 g a day and lost another 8lbs in about a month.Why dont you get some Ketostix to monitor your progress?

You must be constantly drinking.....I do about 2 litres which is something I never really paid much attention to last time but I feel alot less bloated which is great.
I am also going to go back to the gym this week although again last time I didnt go very much after years of low fat and killing mysef at the gym.All I know is that Atkins really works and youdont need to kill yourself eating rabbit food!!
