I read an interesting report that matching men and women for
body weight and height: eg., Pair#1 both weighed 160lbs and
measured 175cm,

the men still consumed more food..

eg., bread, men consumed 60 servings per month and women 45..

Anyway so what is a "serving" of bread per day. Is that like
one sandwich?(two loaves) What is the average bread persons
eat if it is ~ one serving per day. Does the fact that many
people answer that they eat "no" bread affect what the average
person is measured to eat..

A serving ain't what it used to be. Generally a serving used
by the nutrition/food industry and the diabetes "exchange
list" was in the ol' days a slice of bread or its equivalent
in other starches-- 1/2 cup potato, cooked rice, pasta, corn,
beans, etc. or 1/2 of a bagel
(2.5-3inches). All of those were about 15 g carb. Now
"servings" have gotten so huge been-- eg bagels an
biscuits might be megasized to about 4 bread servings.
Good thing to watch in surveys as to how they
measured/defined serving. Pete
