I want to make Shepherd's Loaf (bread) but Bulk Barn in Barrie, ON no longer sells whey protein powder.
Does anyone know where in the Barrie or Collingwood or Wasaga Beach area I can find whey protein powder?
My mouth is just watering for Shepherd's Loaf.

Hi Norma,
Thought I good help but I live in the states. You might want to check the GNC website...they have whey protein and they might ship up there. I like whey so much better than soy. Actually can't stand soy.
Good luck!

Thanks, we have GNC here in Canada (the Cdn. website doesn't have info on it like the GNC website in the US). I'll phone our nearest branch, thanks for your help.

For better pricing, check out all your available Health Food Stores, everybody's selling it now (even grocery stores) and in several brands. GNC is not always the best-priced.
Also watch for carb counts and ingredient list info. You probably need the plain, unflavoured, "natural" whey protein isolate powder(s). It's easy to ask and get assistance for this at any health food store.
There's lots of information in these forums about whey protein powders, etc. There's a VERY helpful SEARCH feature (see the little globe on the upper right of your screen?) and just browsing the subject lines is also often helpful. This Products forum and the LC Kitchen forum are both going to be helpful to you.
