I have very little weight to lose, and I am only interested in cutting my carbs because I am so tired all the time, and because I suffer from hypoglecemia between almost every meal.
I was just wondering if the induction period was really necessary for me?
TIA!

Me, Induction is meant to detox and remove those cravings along with some water bloat, you might actually benefit from it, especially if you're dealing with hypoglycemia. You generally lose 10% of your desired weight loss during this time so you wouldnt lose a lot, like some do. That being said, you might find that with relatively little to lose you fair better on a different plan.
Why not check out the link on the right "which low-carb plan is right for me?" - there are a number reviewed with sample menus provided. I'm thinking Schwarzbeine or Protein Power might appeal to you.

Nope! Depending on your activity level and the amount of weight you have to lose, you could start at Protein Power phase II which is 55 grams per day. It's for people who want to reduce their body weight by less than 20% or those who are happy with their weight but want to reduce body fat and build lean muscle.
Read the book. It's fantastic!
