Hi ssguzman!
I don't think it's too much to be eating but I think it may be too many carbs. You've got a lot of cheese in there and that bar could be taken out.
I suggest you count the carbs carefully and reduce them by half - even have a few protein and fat only days and see if that works.
Good luck,
Robert

If you get knocked out of ketosis, the chocolate bars will need to be the first to go! Those need to be reserved for special treats, and not daily ones for best results. They contain sugar alcohols that can act as "hidden carbs" for some people and can stall your weight loss. You also need to add more veggies and salads, ok?
Have you discovered www.fitday.com ? It's a great place to help you track your food/carb intake. Check it out!

I come up with about 30 grams of carb from your menu there. Since you're still on induction, it shouldn't be more than 20.
I'd also recommend that you not be eating those Pure DeLite bars during induction especially; they're notorious for causing stalls in people.
Cheese is limited to no more than 3-4 oz. during induction, so go easy on it.
I'd also cut back on the beef jerky. It's got a lot of carbs for a little bit of protein and it's very high in sodium which causes a lot of people to retain water. Generally, the less processed a food is, the better. If you're not sure of how many carbs a food has, you can use the carb counter on this page or register for free at www.fitday.com and put in your meal to see how many grams of protein, fat and carb it has. Many members find this a useful tool to help them stay on track or see how a meal that they are planning to eat adds up.
About those fried chicken legs...did they have breading on them or batter?
If 170 is a weight that you have always struggled to get under, it may be a set point for you; a weight that your body is comfortable with or has spent a lot of time at on the way up. Patience and persistence will help you get past it, but you'll have to keep at it.
Since you only have 25 lbs to lose, don't expect to lose half of it during induction. Average weight loss for induction is about 10% of what you need to lose, so if you've already lost 5 lbs, you're ahead of the game.

Thanks for all the replies! I have stayed ~ 170 for many years so my body is very used to it! I know it will take some time to get away from it. I am staying father away from the beef jerky. And my carb intake was much lower today! I find fitday.com very time consuming and i have a toddler to take care of so for right now it is not going to work! I have begun to keep a food Diary that is working well and i also purchased a small food scale for a more exact count.
Thanks
ssguzman :)
The chicken legs were breaded with crushed Pork Rinds! Yummy!
