I just came across this group. What a laugh!!! People in the same boat as i am. This is my story....really short. I gained 66lbs in about 5-6 years and was planning to lose all of it in about 5-6 months. It hasn't worked so far as planned. I have now decided to take everything in my stride. I have lost 16lbs in almost 5 months, not complaining....slow and steady wins the race. I'm feeling healthy and strong. No more fatigue and obsession with food. What more could one ask for??? I wish everyone the very best on this journey. Success is ours.

Hat's off to you for your positive attitude!
...And of course you should be happy, you've lost weight and learned about eating in a way that's good and right for your body.
And here are more reasons to be happy and proud:
--When was the last time that you entered into a New Year losing weight rather than gaining?
--Think about how much more weight you would have gained had it not been for your decision to begin LCing 5 months ago.
--You've got the wonderful members of this forum on your side!
Just as you say, slow and steady wins the race.
Continued good health to you in the coming year.
