Hi all,
Just wondering what kind of menu ideas you all have for someone in induction who hates fish. I am not much of a cook but I am willing to try. Day 2 complete!!!

Don't eat fish!!! I don't like fish though I am moving from hater to dislike.
Eat any cut of beef. I love steak, if on sale even better. I grill it but you can fry or stick in oven if no grill or too cold...lol. I make pot roast in the crockpot. hamburgers, big a juicy with a slice of cheese sometimes I put mayo on it or mustartd
Eat any chicken, breast, thighs, wings. I make hot wings by deep frying wings and putting a little franks red hot sauce with some butter and coating the wings. Dip in blue cheese or ranch low carb dressing. I make chicken strips by deep frying chicken breast cut into strips with only salt and pepper on it...its goodand then I put that on my salad like a fried chicken salad.
eggs, canned chicken with mayo, egg salad
pork chops, steak, roast
If you stick to meat in its orginal form, not processed, you are better off...then fry it, bake it, broil, grill, saute, or anything you like not involving breading or coatings then pair it up with a low carb vegi....I love califlower and its low in carbs with high fiber
and add a good salad with low carb dressing and you have an induction feast
Hey you should start a journal it really helps if you start it early
Feel free to stop by my journal I will be glad to help and many of my meals on the early pages are induction

Hi Heather!
I'll second what Rebecca said. If you don't like fish you don't have to eat it, even though fish like tuna and salmon have a lot of health benefits. I'm not much of a fish eater either but I will eat tuna with chopped celery and lots of mayo mixed in and occasionally some grilled salmon with lemon butter.
Stick with the meats that you like and try to avoid processed meats which often have added sugars, fillers and starches.

Have you tried Talapia? I hate fish as well and was hesitant to try this variety, but it is actually really good! You can't even tell you're eating fish. But don't feel like you "have" to. there are tons of varieties of meat you can enjoy--I love this WOE!!! :D

The only way I can get my daughter to eat fish is to make dip. We use two 8 oz. packages of cream cheese with a can of boneless skinless salmon (with juice from can for more nutrients). Mix it up with a little cream to smooth it out. Add any flavorings you want: garlic, pepper, mushrooms, salsa, black olives, whatever. Serve it with pork rinds as a cold dip. It keeps well in the fridge and has a much milder taste than most fish.

I don't like fish - but I do love other seafood.
Are you talking about all seafood ? because there are alternatives - ... shrimp, crab, lobster, mussels, oysters ...
Nice for a change from time to time ... especially with seafood sauce ...
Yum ....
