Here I am my first time on here after fooling around trying new things. I plan to prove that you can teach an old dog new tricks. And I will learn to operate this message board.

Hehe, you did it!
For me Wa'il the one problem I have so far is that it takes so long for Internet Explorer to come up on my page. A real pain in the butt waiting 3 or four minutes. I have found that since I have down loaded the newer version of Outlook Express and Internet Explorer everything takes longer to come up on my screen, This is very frustrating. Some could be my servers fault, I don't know. We have a sattlelite dish and no cable. I wonder when we can hook up to satlelite ?
I will keep trying but at this rate I do not have the time to visit as often as I would like. BTW I wonder how one spell checks on this oor do I have to do it manually . like in my dumb head?

Hi NNNorma,
I had some problems with Windows a few weeks ago, so I had to re-install everything. A number of friends have commented that I.E. 5.5 and the version of Outlook Express that comes with it is MUCH slower. I have gone back to I.E. 5.0 myself, and I'm much happier with speed and other responses. Just make sure you keep your system updated with Windows downloads and your virus scanner updates.
(belated happy birthday)

Hi NNN,
4 minutes is really too much! Try Doreen's suggestion, and if that's not an option (can be messy) you might want to try a smaller browser when you just want to surf the web.
We'll help you
I went on a seacrch for NIck's success story but could not find it.
