Hi, Lantus costs ~$50 in USA. I am trying to buy it in Canada
online pharmacies because insulins are always cheaper in
Canada. But crossborderpharmacy.com, canadarx.com and
canadameds.com don't sell
it. Does anyone buy Lantus in Canada online pharmacies? If
so, would you tell me which online pharmacies sell
Lantus? Thank you for your help.

AFAIK Lantus isn't yet officially available in Canada.

Hi Paul,

I used Lantus for over 1 year. It solved a big problem for me
(Type 2 using R). I needed a small bolus and had been using
Lente. But the Lente would run out during the day, leaving my
bg too high before dinner. Switched to Lantus as soon as it
came out. Took it at night. Solved the pre-dinner bg problem.
I also found it to work well over 24 hours -- so if I didn't
go to bed the same time each night, it was still working. Very
even release -- no peaks. So I didn't have high spots and low
spots that couldn't be accounted for by MY activity. So I'm a
big fan. I only dropped off it when I switched to Actos and
got off insulin completely a few months ago. Eric

It is possible that Lantus has not been approved for sale in
Canada. I know Novolog has not been. Lantus become available
in Australia only about 60 days ago.

That is probably why you are not seeing Lantus offered
in Canada.

Not quite. Lantus was approved in Canada last summer. The
manufacturer is holding it back from selling it until they
can be sure they can make enough to satisfy demand. Novolog
*is* available here, but is called NovoRapid everywhere but
in the US. Steve

Novolog is called NovoRapid in Canada and has been available
since Feb. 2002. I've been using since it has been available
and like it.
