Hi everyone, I just bought Ketostix for the first time. I have never seen anyone mention if there is a best time of day to use them.
Would first thing in the morning be best or does it matter??
Thanks, Nancy

Shouldn't make a big difference, but first thing in the morning is the most concentrated urine sample. You'll be more likely to see a positive, especially if you're drinking lots of water like you're supposed to. ;)

Thanks, Kristine, I'll start in the morning then.
I haven't lost an ounce in 3 weeks but have been pretty good. Also, my clothes are looser every day. My waist is 2 inches smaller so I'm not really frustrated. More like eager to see more good results. I'm just going to use them to be sure that I haven't upped my carbs a little to much.
I've added a few nuts (very few) and the occasonal Atkins muffin. The muffins are tiny and work out to 3 carbs each. Hope I won't have to give them up. They are a welcome change.
Also, I haven't been to the gym in 3 months (Doctor's orders) since I have bursitis of the hip. My new name at work is limpy!
I can't do any leg presses, bike etc. However, I'm going to start back with treadmill(no incline allowed) and some upper body. I think it should help a bit.
Thanks and see ya later, Nancy

Hi Nancy! You have had a terrific weight loss! Congrats and I am sure that helps your hip heal better. Even if your weight loss is slower I sure would not push the exercise. Your health, in the long run, will be better if you let your hip rest and recover. You might lose slower without the exercise, but you will lose eventually. Best of luck to you, and I hope that gets to feeling a lot better. Cindi

Thanks Kristine and Cindi, tried my ketostix this morning for the first time. I was thrilled to see them turn pink, nowhere near purple but I'm happy with pink.
3 weeks with nary an ounce off, hope this week that maybe things will budge. I bought the ketostix for encouragement and must admit I feel better. I will keep on keeping on and hope for some scale movement soon!!!
Thanks for your encouragement, see ya later, Nancy
