I'm not sure if this would work. Would this work about the same as induction? Eating 20 carbs a day from either oatmeal, whole wheat bread, brown rice, or veggies? Some of these foods I have to consume on certain days because it is a safe food for my stomach.

I don't know what to tell you because I'm not sure if this is a Sugarbusters or an Atkins question.
But I can point you to two great threads that may answer your question.
Any Carbs? Any Time? (http://forum.lowcarber.org/showthread.php?s=&threadid=25015&highlight=combining+sweeteners)
and
What's wrong with grains? (Besides the obvious) (http://forum.lowcarber.org/showthread.php?s=&postid=560387#post560387)

LB Dropper -
If you are going to do Sugar Busters, the 20g of Carbs a day would not be sufficient. If you are going to do another LC plan, (like Atkins), 20g would be enough - but not from those food choices. I don't know about many LC plans, but Atkins does not allow grains or starchy vegtables during induction.
Sugar Busters allows you to have "legal" carbs (whole wheat bread, brown rice, etc), but even then you do have to monitor the amount. Sugar Busters also says that some people in the initial stages of weightloss may find that they cannot have much of the "legal" carbs to keep up weight loss. I think it is a YMMV type of thing....
Good luck - hope this helped. :)

What do you mean by "safe food for your stomach"? Do you have stomach problems and these are the only food that you can keep down?
Depending on what your stomach problem is, you may find a dramatic improvement if you follow LC.

I have post cholecystectomy problems which is aggravated no matter what I eat, but eating things that are on this kind of diet REALLY upsets it (I'm suppose to stay away from these type of foods to feel better but I need to lose weight) but oatmeal and crackers well they are safer for me to eat I don't get as sick. So it makes this type of dieting really hard, but everything else I tried I either didn't lose or gained. I did Weight Watchers faithfully for a month and gained 2 lbs a week and none of it was muscle because I wasn't working out!
