didn't look near as good as Hula Girl's. I couldn't see a difference without really really studying them. Even then it was hard to tell if there really was a difference or it was just the angle that the photo was taken.

But I'm in it for the long haul. I'm hoping by week 12 to have more to show for all this hard work.

I couldn't see any difference in my before/after photos for C1 but the measurements and scale told a different story.

Don't sweat it. I am on C3 and thinking that I may have to do another two challenges to finally get to where I want to be.

It doesn't really matter as I am enjoying the process and am so pleased with what I've accomplished over the past year and a half. I could never go back to how I did (or did not) do things before I discovered lowcarbing.

Sticking to it for the long haul is the right attitude. You will get to where you want to be eventually. For now, take pride and satisfaction in what you've accomplished so far.

Hi, Sherry!

You know, I applaud your efforts for just TAKING the pictures! I wont EVEN go there. See, for me seeing what I don't like destroys my determination and motivation----completely. If I stay away from looking at what I know I can't change completely, then I'll stay on-track.

I probably don't like myself like I should, but I'm working on it. You guys are a great help, too... quite an inspiration.

Thanks for sharing, Sherry. :daizy:

I tried on a blouse that I haven't worn in 12 years or so, and it fits nicely and looks good on me, so I think I am losing body fat. It seems to be coming off the upper body first. I'm not seeing much difference on the lower body.

I've been sticking pretty close to induction level carbs the last few days (which is hard to do with all this working out), and I finally had the courage to take my measurements again today. They were back where they were on August 6th when I found my lowest readings. Some spots even looked a little lower.

I used a new fat measuring tool today and found that by that calculation I was at 31 percent body fat, by my calipers I'm as low as 28 %, but this varies up and down depending on how much extra water I have in the tissues.

Considering I started at 36.9% BF in early September, I'm still happy with the results. Week 5 has looked more happy than week 4 did. I'm wearing a size 36 bra today and considering I was up at one point to a 40 or 42, I think that is pretty good.

I hear ya, Sherry! It gets so frustrating sometimes, and you know.. some days I just get so tired of dieting. It's pretty stressful in and of itself most of the time. I'm going on 7mos now and it's sort of driving me nuts, ya know?

I've gotten to a standstill on the inches again, but I'm so darn used to that that it seems 'normal.'

I'm glad to hear you're losing some inches and your clothes are fitting better. It's something, and for some of us... those little "somethings" are the only thing that keeps us going. At least it's like that for me.
