I just switched to this...and REALLY like it so far. It does require a lot of working out...but it was worth it for us.

Here got to the link above...
The down to CKD 101
And read what Trainerdan Wrote....
He as broke it down really well for us. There may be some other thread in that area too...
As far as eating...basically only meat during the week M-F
Friday evening you start carbing up until Sunday evening...With an HEAVY work out Monday. This is to get the most out of your work out and to burn up the carbs for the week. DON'T work out on the weekend or what even days that you have chosen to carb up...you will be working against your self this way. You need those carbs for the first work out.

If you have trouble finding the info...repost...and I send you the copies I put in my computer

Good Luck

My cable modem is not working, so I can't post from home until they come fix it :(

BUT, I have gotten access at work, so I can pop in from time to time until I get access from home ...

As far as what amount of carbs to eat, it's easiest if you use the calculator that I link to from the fitness site that Fern and I run (Quadrafit)

From the Nutrition/Fitness articles page, you will see a link under the "WORKOUTS" heading for our SUPERCUT cycle (which is what Fern did). In that article, you will find the link to the calculator.

As far as what you can eat on CARB UPS (Friday night, all day Saturday, and all day Sunday), you can have ANY carbs (from my experience anyway). Fruit, fruit juice, pancakes, bascially ALL of the stuff that you crave during the week.

Just be sure to keep it reasonably low-fat.
