OK....I finally decided to start an exercise log. I have done so well with the eating, and I have a journal, so I figured what the heck, maybe this will help me do better!

OK....day 1. I did push myself, and I'm really proud of what I did.

Quads: Leg Extensions - Reps/Weight 12/45 for 4 sets, then 12/50 for 1 more.

Hamstrings: Leg Curls - 12/25 for 4 sets, then 12/27.5 for another set.

Calves: Seated Calf Raises - 12/50 for 4 sets, then 12/55 for 1 more.

No Abs, due to prior neck pain....will be buying some of the elastic tubings so I can set something up.....but until then, no way!

This really did kick my butt....no cardio because of it....I guess I'm going to have to split the workout by a few hours!

Did cardio for 30 min, 10.1 miles!

Later tried doing upper body and was distracted by phone call....friend in need. By the time we hung up, it was too late!

I did do the BB Bench press: 4 sets of 12 with #10 and 1 set with 15#. Also did one arm db rows: 4 sets of 12 with 5#

Sore today from the lower body work-out I did sunday! Going to just do cardio tonight, go back to weights tomorrow.

Well, so much for exercising....at least for a while!

Moved office furniture last wednesday and apparently hurt my back! I haven't had much more than a mild ache or two in a long time....now my low back is hurting like the devil!

Well, I've increased my Motrin and using ice packs....and I'm just going to wait this out. I just don't want to do anything else to make things worse, so I'll give it another few days, then get back on track!

Well, started the day by oversleeping, so I didn't do the cardio.

But! Tonight I did do my weights. Upper body today. Did pretty well, but boy, some of those exercises are hard!

Going to do my best to do the AM cardio and evening weights!

30 min cardio this AM. Speed ~19-20mph with sprints to 25-28 for 1 min out of every 5.

40 min lower body weights this PM. Leg Ext, Leg Curls, Calf Raises.

wow I didnt realize it's been so long since I've posted.

Well, anyway, I've been doing the cardio in the AM, weight every other day. About 10 days ago I hurt my back, so I've taken a few days off and now I'm so weak it isn't funny!

Today:
30 min cardio...24 ~ 20-22 mph, 6 ~ 30-32 mph
Weights:
Barbell Lift: 12reps/10#
Seated DB press: 10/5
DB Rows: 12/5
Lying DB extensions: 12/5
Hammar Curls: 12/5
Leg Extensions: 12/50
Leg Curls: 12/20
Seated Calf Raises: 15/60

Pretty sad, huh?

WOW!!!! Didn't realize how long it'd been since I've been here!!!!

Well, I wrecked my neck and back. It's MUCH better now, and I've started Yoga stretching daily and Bike 30 min 3X/week.

Since last sunday I've done the Yoga daily.....15 min each session.....and at least 30 min on the bike 3X this week....at an average speed of 26mph.

Gonna stick with this for another week, then start low weights a few times/week.....maybe taking it slowly will help!

I'm off all meds except my stomach meds. Not because I want to be, but because my stomach was acting up too much!

Prior to LC, I was taking Motrin 800mg 4X/day. By the second week I'd cut down to 1X/week.....and then the stomach kicked in!!!! Doc changed meds and told me no more Motrin! I've been off it completely for 3 weeks now, and each day is getting a bit better. I still have pain, and twice now I've resorted to taking a percocette (last time over a week ago!)....but only one and it was only because I'd been hurting for an entire day....head AND back ache!
