Hi,
I've been looking through the breakfast ideas and sweet treats
but can't find any shakes that use yogurt. I know a lot of LCers
don't do yogurt but for the those that do, would you PLEASE share some of the recipes :p I really need to put some kick into my breakfast. In fact , even if you don't use yogurt, if you have a recipe for a thick, tasty a.m. shake I'd love to try it :) I would really appreciate your recommendations.

You know I didn't think I would like them, but I use the Atkins vanilla powder and it is really good and thick. I make it the way it says on the package and it is a toss between a shake and pudding.
I put a bit of crushed ice in it and you wouldn't believe how good it tastes. I just use my hands, a plastic cup that fits over a glass in my cupboard, so I didn't even buy a shaker or anything.

I sometimes make a shake with 1 cup water, 1/4 cup full-fat yogurt, about 10 frozen strawberries, 1 scoop of plain whey protein isolate, 1/2 avocado and sweetener if I'm in the mood for it. You can't really taste the avocado, but it makes the shake really thick.

Karen and Amber,
Both of those sound good :yum: The sound of a shake as thick as pudding sounds like something I could devour right now and I LOVE avacados!
