Ok, I've lost 15 lbs in my first 1 1/2 weeks, so I am by no means disappointed, just mildly frustrated. A week later, nothing.

I had 2 pure de-lite choc bars, before finding out that they were not for me. Set up cravings, made me feel carb-binged, and I think its the reason for my stall. If that's the case, anyone know how long it takes for it to leave my system? Its been 4 days I think now.

Only other thing I've changed is including a low-carb AdvantEdge shake in my day. It says 2 g of carb, but actually is 2.55. I take that in account. I also have these to fill in my vits and mins I need.
Anyone stall cos of these shakes too?

Hiya, Honey!

15 pounds in a week and a half is outstanding! WTG!

Now, about this week: unfortunately, you can't expect that rapid rate of weight loss to continue, at least not in a linear fashion. Some weeks (or months!) will be slower, some will be faster. The slower it comes off, the healthier you are, and the more likely you are to *keep* it off. Try not to sweat it at this point; you're probably not doing anything wrong. The shakes are probably okay as long as you're counting those few carbs. It was wise of you to recognize that the bars weren't doing you any good.

The usual definition of "stall" around here is about six weeks. So, if you haven't lost any more weight in early November, ask that question again. ;)

Keep it up! In the meantime, enjoy this way of life!

Hello Honey!

15 lbs is great! I agree that you will not keep on losing at this rate. It will slow down, don't get frusterated when that happens. It happens to everyone. It is actually better, because as Kristine said, you will KEEP it off.

Shakes can create stalls to some people. Becareful how much you drink...

Hiya,

It happened to me too, I have lost 13LB on the first two weeks of induction and now on my third week and nothing! I do understand how frustrating it is, at the moment I feel like giving up!

Thanks for the responces :)

I needed to assurance. When I was on this wol 2 yrs ago, I didn't even own a scale. So I may have done it then and just wasn't aware of it. I think I'll :bash: the scales and go back to by "feel."
Also, knocked out the shakes for now. Maybe a different brand would be better. Those did seem to taste too good.

Abbi, stick with it girl. I'll be here no matter what and we'll make it. I am here for the long haul, I WANT this. WE can do this!! :yay:

Hi...
This is exactly what happened to me! I lost about the same amount as you and then I spent weeks going up and down. Now I have concluded that, for me at least, this is gonna be the pattern: two steps forward and one step back...lose some, gain some, lose more. (Phew! at least after the cycle is over, the number is lower, but there is lots of frustration and discouragement and fear along the way). I hope that soon there will be enough of these cycles so that when one occurs I can stop being afraid that this was all an illusion: I keep thinking that all the weight I lost was really water weight and that I am gonna gain it all back. :D

A rapid weight loss of 15 pounds gives your body a lot to adjust to. Patience, and don't give up hope!
