I've been off the CKD for almost 6 weeks now, and I haven't done a re-feed. My carbs have been looking like 100-120 carbs, of which 40-60 are fiber, so an average ECC of about 40-60. Cals have been in the 2400-2700 range.

The last day or two, I've been dragging arse despite having grabbed some extra sleep. Today, especially, I've got the low blood sugar shakes and the destroyed concentration that goes with it. Definite case of the 'stupids.' I'm also a little off in the gym, but more in terms of focus than strength.

So, is it time to re-feed, or am I whip-sawing due to *increased* carbs? My tendency is to believe the former, but I thought I'd grab a few opinions before I hit the Pixie sticks.

Any comments?

Thanks,

Friday

I started onCKD due to a gradual but persistent deterioration in workouts and energy level. I started missing days, and when I would get there I would burn out quickly.
Since starting CKD (it's only been a couple of weeks, I'm heading to my third carbup on Saturday) my workouts have jumped up to the most intense level ever.
Perhaps similar to your situation?
