Yall, i'm having a tough time hitting my goal for my fat grams. I suppose to hit around 300 but i'm taking at around a 100. Any ideas on food choices :confused:

Nuts, seeds, mayo, butter, coconut oil, olive oil, flax oil, peanut butter, olives - Use extra and use it all often :)

Put butter on your vegetables
Renees salad dressings on your salads
Kraft mayonaise.... egg salad, tuna salad

I found a greek dressing that has .65 grams of carbs in 2 tablespoons to go along with 5 grams of fat.
It is called Gazebo Room, they are a regional company so i dont know if you will be able to find it or not. I use it in place of ketchup, steak sauce and barbque sauce on almost all my meats as well as scrambled eggs - oh yeah and on salad once in awhile.
When i am low on fat at the end of the day i always make sure to have a little extra with supper.
Also dont forget about cream cheese, but only if you are low on carbs too. It has 2 grams in 2 tablespoons.

cheese

butter
heavy cream
almond, sesame or coconut oil
The cream and the oils can very easily be added to your shakes and consumed that way. When I had to supp fat, I'd throw up to 3 or 4 ounces of fat into my shakes in the morning. One tip - if you're going to drink it, almond and sesame oil taste a whole lot better than olive or (gag!) fish oil.

well I am always on the go, so i find it hard to plan out my meals.so i said the hell with it. I just hit the local latino restaurant and i buy 1 or 2 chicharones. Its basically a half pound slab of bacon(picture the whole pack of bacon before its sliced). they season and deep fry it. and thats what I eat. Havent really calculated the cals, etc. but i figure a half pound slab of meat thats at least 75% fat. i cant go wrong. no curing deep fried. yeah, and occasionally i eat it with xxx-hot habanero sauce :skull: .and lots and lots of water. did i mention lots of water. :D

I also take 200 mg of Citrimax per day, 800 mcg of chromium, and i take 54 mg of vanadyl every night before bedtime. Oh, and i have a question. this last time i started the diet. I was making large ketones but my blood sugar never dropped below 80 whats up with that? I think the vanadyl is whats causing my cramps. but I figure women deal with cramps routinely , if they can I can :D
