hi. before LCing, i would get headaches everyday no matter what i did to try to prevent them. i have read that headaches were a symptom of PCOS. i was diagnosed in april and i am still learning! well, after only 1 1/2 weeks of LCing my headaches are gone!!!!! how thankful am i? very.
well, yesterday it was brought to my attention by a freind, that maybe it was because i haven't had any sugar. maybe i could have diabetes or something. before, i ate sugar all the time and drank regular soda. so i got to thinking about it and wondered what were some of the symptoms of insulin-resistance PCOS? i thought maybe i could have that.
well, i shall soon go to the dr's and i will bring it up, but just thought that i could get some answers from you ladies. any info would be great. i always like to get info from real people that way i can ask question. thanks!!!

One of the theories about PCOS is that it is actually a symptom of insulin resistance or syndrome X. When you consider that LCing is now known to alleviate the syndrome, it's not surprising.

I had terrible migraines before I started LCing also. They have since gone away except for when I have my period, but they are a lot less severe than they used to be.

I'm happy for you that your headaches have disappeared with LCing. It's such a relief, isn't it!

deb,
thanks for the encouragement. it's always needed. well, i have been to the doctors and she pretty much threw off the idea. i guessing that the headaches were really just from the sugars and bad stuff i was eating. i am not to worried about it anymore. if my doctor wasn't concerned than i shouldn't be.
i really appreciate your reply. thanks!

Before getting treatment for my PCOS I had serious headaches as well. They know women who suffer from PMS often have terrible headaches. So I wouldn’t be surprised if the hormone hell PCOSers are under can have the same effect.
