Can flaxseed oil work to help keep you regular? I was originally told no, but after taking it for a few weeks my need for an extra fiber supplement has disappeared :D

Yes, it can, but the result is not due to fiber. The 3 ingredients in a LC WOE that help keep you regular are water, fiber and fat. Increasing your fat intake will often result in greater regularity.

Flax seed on the other hand is quite fiberous and would give you similar results. The benefit of fiber over the other 2 is that it bulks up the stool, making it a remedy for both constipation and diahreah.
