I have a quick question for you guys...I have just completed the atkins induction phase. I found out I dropped some weight and inches during the two weeks, but here is my problem. I got on the scale this morning and my weight was back up again by five pounds but my inches were the same...now a few days ago I weighed less. I don't understand..how can my weight be back up if I am fitting into cloths that I coudn't fit into before? I went from a forty inch waist to now fitting into my husbands 36 pants. Here is my typical menu during the day...For lunch I eat a half a spagetti squash followed by water, and some feta cheese one ounce. For dinner usually a two cheese burgers from a drive through no bun or condiments, cooking food I really don't have the time. Plus I jog two miles four days a week at a real slow pace, I also lift weights and bike on alternate days. Can someone help me? Should I go back onto Induction for another two weeks.

No, you're fine!! Most likely (especiallly since your measurements haven't changed) you're re-building lean body mass. Most people increase their protein significantly when they start LCing compared to pre-LC days. You're muscles are gobbling up that protein and growing! Since muscle is more dense than fat, you don't notice it in your clothes but you definitely do so on the scale. Don't worry! Be happy! :D Sounds like you should keep close tabs on your measurements and not rely so much on the scale for your source of motivation. And measure EVERYWHERE you can wrap a tape around!
Way to go! Keep it up, girl!!

Sounds like you're doing great, fitting into those small clothes. Are you weighing yourself the same time of day each time? I think that makes a difference. For me, I have been losing about one pound a week. Some folks here lose faster, others slower.
