Broiled Tomatoes

Oh! and I will probably have some fresh strawberries later in the evening.

FRIDAY:
One of my fav meals:

I had stir-fry steak, peppers and onions. that I made yesterday. I threw in the left over brown rice too.
I also had a cucumber & tomatoes salad with legal dressing.
The only thing not legal was the plop of Teriyaki sauce I put in there when stir frying it to heat it up. Gotta find a legal teriyaki.
TOM's here so I'm wanting a little junk. Guess the teriyaki is better then a candy bar :)

Oh this is too funny Carol!

I was just going to e-mail you and ask if you had a legal Terriyaki Recipe.

I want to mention to all of you that Carol and I have been "Cyber Buddies" for a little over three years now.

Well I had a late breakfast so no lunch but an early supper... gee did that make sense? :D

Anyway tonight's supper was:
a big Juicy Cheeseburger on an Ezekial Bun Loaded (tomato, onion, dill pickle and lettuce)

Then I stir fried some peppers (red, green & yellow) and onions and sliced up some cucumber.

Was a yummy meal!

I had oatmeal for breakfast, skipped lunch, went to a friends for dinner. Had Velveeta & Rotel dip with Triskits and steak. I really didn't have any veggi's today or fruit :(
Drank a lot of water though.
I did have a great steak dinner the night before with a huge salad.

I had an acorn squash I needed to use & threw together something tonight that came out really good.

No real recipe I just used what I had in the fridge:
I stuffed the cavity of the squash with a mixture of cooked Sausage, chunks of Granny Smith apple, a few Pecans, some minced onion and a couple of dollaps of All-Fruit SF Orange Marmalade. Baked it for 45 minutes and ohmygoodness it was good!

hello everyone...

i was just reading through this thread and making me hungry! tonight i'm having pizza, which i make on WW pitas as well!

I cut one pita in half and then brush the insides of the halves with a bit of olive oil. i bake the pitas, olive oil side up, on 400 till a bit crispy. then set aside.

I mix a few tsp of tomato paste with 3 tsp water and garlic powder, basil and oregano. spread onto the pitas. (you just need a bit for taste!) now sprinkle mozz cheese, crumbled bacon and feta cheese on top. bake until mozz cheese is bubbly. this tastes sooo good! i bet it would be good with a tiny bit of red onion for extra flavor and color...but haven't tried it yet.

whoops! should this have gone in the recipes? ah well, blame it on the newbie-ness!

Hi Molly ~ I am quite new to this site, and still "surfing around", looking at different posts. Have been struggling with Atkins, I think because of meds, and looking for something else that might work. I am going to the library today to check out Sugar Busters. This cheeseburger on an Ezekial bun caught my eye, though. Just was is this type of bun, and where do you find it?

Thanks for your time...

are made by the same foks that produce Ezekial Bread. They are made from sprouted grain.

I love the taste and use Ezekial products frequently.

You can also get Ezekial Tortillas and Ezekial Pita Bread.

Some supermarkets carry the Bread but I have to buy the buns and other products at my local Health Food Store.

Hi smltngrl,

The Ezekiel bun/bread is made from sprouted wheat instead of regular WW flour. It has alot of other stuff in it too, all good. I have only been able to only find it at out health food store. Good stuff and lots of bulk too!!

Molly, you still around?? Hope all is well with you. Seems like many around here have been in a "Winter Stall". Spring will nip that in the bud. Goodluck.

I'd like to know about the Ezekial Bun too. I'm doing Montignac but Sugar Busters, Sommersizing and Montignac are all very similar so I'm snooping in here for ideas :)

Great thread for picking up ideas that people actually use.
I had chili con carne with shredded chedder cheese, some chopped onion and some Triscuits to replace saltines. Good stuff.
Snacked on some mixed nuts and a little cheese.
