A few of us are off to Spinnakers (microbrew and pub-restaurant, with a nice water view, yet NOT ostentatious or wildly expensive) on June 9th, Saturday, 12:30 ish. Join us for lunch?

Now I'm envious of the Van. Island coterie. I love Spinnaker's. Used to go there when a crowd of us English teachers would go over to Victoria to mark government exams. Geat times, and Victoria always seemed sunny and filled with flowers. I still consider retiring to Victoria area or maybe further north on the island.

... summer is finally here (well, ok, pre-summer) and all is green, the sun is shining and the last of the lilacs are in full bloom. :cool:

I'm sad not to have heard from more V.Islanders, but hey, Spinnakers is always good and the sun has just come out.

PS: I'm working on the final details of scheduling a course in Vancouver, June 25th to 28th (Oracle DModelling & Rltnl Dsgn). Can we do something, please? I'd be SOOOOOOO happy to sit down and chat with y'all and with little or no time/ferry pressure.
