I've started going regularly to a resistance workout class at
the Y (45 minutes using weights and elastic bands). After
several weeks, I've upped my weights (to 8# hand weights) and
band level. I would like to start free weights in a few
months, but feel these classes are a good start, especially
helpful with good form while lifting etc. My question is this:
Can I do these classes daily or am I better off treating these
like weight days and alternating? Thanks for the advice! -K

It all depends upon intensity. If you are doing high reps
of 30 or more then everyday might be okay. On the other
hand, weigth trainers that do very heavy weights of only
one or two reps near there maximum might only do that
exercise once per week.
