Hi. My name is Rod Cedaro and I hold a Masters Degree in
exercise physiology. I have had a long involvement with
endurance sports over the years, racing as a professional
triathlete, duathlete and marathon runner over the years. I
have been reading postings at this news-group for a number of
weeks now and thought I would make myself known if anyone has
any specific questions they may wish to direct to me. I can be
contacted direct at news@go2altitude.com
My main areas of expertise are endurance sports, sports
nutrition/supplementation and a special interest in
simulated altitude training and the associated performance
and health benefits.
If you'd like to know a little more about me please feel free
to contact my website at www.Tri-Training.com
Kind regards, Rodney L. Cedaro (M. App. Sc.) Consultant

Question that no one has been able to answer so far:
How do I distinguish between DOMS and a muscle tweak upon the
second or third day after my training?

One hurts so good. One hurts so bad. One potentially will
only effect strength upon subsequent training, whereas the
other will probably have a marked impact on function as well.
Just a guide....

Funny, my master's thesis was on this and the literature is
full of references. As someone who has completed 6 marathons,
I also have first hand experience.
I smell a possible troll.................

There's no such thing as DOMS? Delayed onset muscle soreness -
then all that pain I've experienced over the years from too
high an eccentric load must have all been in my mind.
