I am under-pronated (shoeworn on outside of heels)and prone to
ankle sprain. (click, click...) 180lb, 6-2. I am looking for
running shoes that can at mitigate my feet problems while
allow me to reach aerobic fitness goals. I run only on
treadmill for 3-4 times a week. Each time run 3-4 miles in
30-40 min. Would anybody kindly give your two cents?---like
the brand and models?

Thanks a lot! Mike

IMO Any shoes not made in China (poor quality, relying on
"brand name" to sell something probably dangerous and nasty)

I would suggest for you to try a "Work clothing" "protective
Clothing" store they often sell "work" shoes that are
comfortable and practical (for nurses postmen etc) My local
protective clothing store even sell "sneaker" type running
shoes I have found excellent for jogging and training

Also their prices are very competitive usually tested by
orthopedic surgeons or some Government endorsed safety unit
and have real quality checks on their products ensuring they
are long lasting and comfortable

Also often well made locally

With all the once famous brands like "Nike, addidas, rebok,
etc" it has now become a buyer beware situation. With shoes
of high price poor quality being pushed to consumers. As
well as often turning out to be hazardous to wear, let alone
run in them.

My experiences are that lately every time you find (get sucked
in) to a brand that reasonably works the design changes next
time. With things like rubbish nasty "untieable" shoe laces
slugged in and your feet getting cut the infected plastic
parts they glue in heel or where ever the very short instant
you start running in them

Just my 2 cents worth at any rate

Take care

Find a running store in your area and go and see the sales
people. They will give you a good idea of what to wear with
your condition.
