Someone was telling me about Carbo Blockers for dropping
weight. I already exercise with kung fu for 3 1/2 hrs a week,
and try to eat right. This helped but I still can't seem to
get rid of the weight I need to. ( yes, I come from an obese
family line ) I have 43 lbs to go.
Do these really work, or are they just more snake oil?
And I heard something the other day on CNN, about some obesity
related hormone they found in humans, which sounds like a
takeoff on the leptin studies in mice that never panned out,
but this time they're working on it in humans? Is it hopeful
now? What's the stuff called? Anyone?

The mouth has been known to be an effective Carbo Blocker. In
particular, keep the lips closed.

Try Phaseolamin from Vitamin Shoppe. I've read articles that
said good stuff about it.

Fat blockers are available, and much more effective. Do you
eat no-fat cheese, skim milk and dry bread/toast? I have
accustomed myself easily to this.
