Okay....

I am FINALLY reaching a point of being stabilized after being severely hypothyroid. lemme tell you folks that I DO NOT ever wanna feel like that again. So I am restarting PP again. I started last Mon. and already feel so much better.

This time I've made changes however. I've started shopping at a health food store thats reasonable actually. I buy as much organic food as possible. I am also taking a calcium/magnesium/zinc supplement. I added Udo's oil, coconut oil and a few other goodies to my staples!

Also I am not going to concern myself with a scale at all. I am strictly going to go by the tape measure and how clothes are fitting.

It's good to be back. :)

We're glad you're feeling so much better!! That's always such good news! :D

I can't figure out where to use this coconut oil I bought... I cannot handle the taste of it!! How do you use it? Maybe it's just the brand I bought or something....but man, it's got a strong taste!

I use the coconut oil lotta ways:

1. after I cook my mock danish I put it on top and it melts. gives it a really nice flavor!

2. I make coconut coffee...put it in my hot coffee w/splenda. YUM :D

3. I melt it over my cooked acorn squash or other veggies and put it in my shakes!

PS Is your oil pure, unrefined expeller pressed..makes aBIG WHOPPING difference!

Teri, this is the brand I use. It's also great for stir-fries and curries.

Yeah, Jeanner, it's unrefined, expeller pressed.... I thought that might be why it had a stronger flavor. I can't handle it in my coffee...I've tried. I'll bet it is quite good on mock danish, squash and in stir fries! I'm glad I asked...I have NO creativity in the kitchen. Thanks for the ideas and the link, Karen.... I'll keep trying!!
