I've been lactose intolerant most of my life. Now how come I don't have a reaction to heavy cream? Anyone else have this same experience?

My guess? What you are intolerant to is the sugar/lactose in the milk - as cream/ heavy cream is very high in fat and very low in carbs/sugars you don't have the same reaction.
