Yesterday I was picking up my son's perscription at the Rite Aid Pharmacy. If anyone has ever done this, you would remember that they tend to staple information in addition to the medicine's information, about health or clinics etc.
Well yesterday I glance at it and had a pleasant surprise, clipped to the bag was an small informational piece about getting rid of your sweet tooth! It talked about not eating bread, pototes, and sweets as well as lowering your sugar in general. It was still way more that what we do here at LowCarb but boy was it a refreshing change. :)

I am an absolute convert to LC. I have always been a major chocoholic. Over the last three weeks I have not even missed it and when I eat something that has hidden sugar, I can taste it and not like it!

I have started writing to companies here in Australia to raise their awareness, not only of the benefits of LC but of the market share they could grab by offering LC products.

You cant't get unsweetened bacon here at all and pork rinds are like hen's teeth. Splenda seems to be some new fangled invention that has reached our shores, but not been accepted as friendly and everything is high carb/low fat.

I'll dream of the days when we have things like this happening down under!
