I had some freinds over who were drinking wine, and they offered me a glass. I declined becasue I'm not sure of the carb content or what the alchohal might affect this WOL. Any infor regarding this would be appreciated.

I believe you are not allowed to drink wine in the first two weeks of induction, but after the induction you are allowed to drink wine gradually. I personally drank white wine after the first two weeks, but then again not too much. Hope it helps!

SooCee is correct: wine is not allowed on Induction. In fact, Atkins discourages it completely. Protein Power Plan allows for some wine.
Alcohol is metabolized like straight sugar so it can severely affect ketosis and cause an insulin surge. You have to find out how it affects you.
There are carbs in wine; the drier the better. Spirits (rum, gin etc.) are lowest but mix with no carb/no sugar sodas (soft drinks, mixes).

Do you know where I can find a list of carb contents in beer/wine/spirits?

Go to www.fitday.com and plug in white wine, etc. That gives you what you need.
