What do you CKD'er think about nightly protein intake. Like I mean supplementing with protein when you are sleeping. I was thinking about mixing 20-30g Whey protein + water and sipping whenever I happen to wake up. Not go hardcore and set my alarm or anything, just have it there to sip on like when I go the the bathroom or something like that.
OK, I'd apppriacte any consejo (advice)

If you are looking for middle of the night protein, mixing it up and keeping it in the fridge is a good idea.
Instead of whey, you may want to consider using a whey/casein blend, since the casein will alllow a slower release of aminos while you sleep.
I always flirted with the idea of putting a small dorm refirdgerator in my bedroom and keeping it stocked with water and RTD meal replacements (Met-Rx RTD40, Myoplex Lo-carb, etc) for the middle of the night thing.
