Sorry, but I'm way too lazy to actually mail $62 to the
American Journal of Human Genetics to look at the Thomas/Weale
article about Jewish mtDNA. Although maybe I'm neurotic enough
that I'll go ahead and mail the check.
Anyhow, if anyone out there does have a subscription, could
you possibly look to see if it says anything about Haplogroup
M, or if it mentions any specific mtDNA patterns with
differences from the norm in Hyper Variable Region 1 at
16,111, 16,223, 16,235 and 16,362?
I understand that this is the genetic equivalent of looking up
a horoscope, but it just seems like a fun thing to do.
Also, if someone knows of a good, electronic,
credit-card-based way to get access to a single AJHG article,
I'd be interested in that, too.
