And I know nothing about it. Would be interested, though, even
if Danish is a bit out of my linguistic range (at least I can
read it, somewhat). The standard rejection of wolf-children is
getting a bit thin now that we have confirmation that
lionesses (or at least one particular lioness) adopt oryxes
(three times, at last count -- that's one obsessed kitty).
Chimps and monkeys seem to adopt human children, too. Now if
we could only figure out how to respond in these cases. The
Rev. Singh's misguided attempts probably killed Kamala and
Amala. They might have been better off left with the wolves.
There is a book I ran across at a used book store, _Wolf
Children_ by Charles Maclean, which has some of the Rev.
Singh's photos (unfortunately he was obsessed with double
exposures as a method of showing motion) and diary excerpts,
as well as some corroboration from individuals the author
interviewed in the 1970's. I haven't looked again at all the
posts that google search dredged up, but most of what's in
them came from that book.
