Hi there,
I was fortunate enough this saturday to discover an intact
mammoth tusk tip ( 28 inches to down to the tip ) this
saturday in the cooper river, south carolina. I also have some
larger fragments which fit into the broken end and would
extend it. Right now it is in a cooler wrapped in towels with
river water in it.
Does anyone here have any advice on handling/stabilizing
dealing with this tusk. I want to be very careful with it! Any
and all suggestions and advice are welcome!
