there are some low carb colleages on another site experimenting the following. They are drinking lots of water untill they drink half their bodyweight in water. Its a lot but at least I read about a dozen people doing it .They r feedback is they ve lost from two to six puonds overnite. The explanation is that theres some kind of waste build up on our muscles and the water flush everything out
so fat is burn much faster . Maybe Dan or Zeus have heard about this.By the way we dont have a chat room?

When you say half their bodyweight in water, what EXACTLY do you mean?
by reading it, I take it as ... for me since I am approx. 220 lbs ... that I would consume 110 lbs. water.
Water at 8 lbs. per gallon ... 110 / 8 = 13 gallons of water? Sounds like an electrolyte imbalance waiting to happen.
Or do you mean bodyweight in ounces ... 110 ounces = 13 cups. I do more than that now.
Not sure what you mean.

-This is a really desperate and pathetic attempt at losing weight. Drinking excessive amounts of water won't make the fat 'magically' disappear. It's important to get a lot of water each day (I try to get a gallon). However, don't expect it to shed any unwanted pounds. Besides, if someone is drinking 'half their bodyweight in water'- I'm pretty sure they would be pissing all over the place every few minutes.

-There is a chat-room on this website, however, no one seems to use it. I went in there once and slowly backed away after I saw some scary 'oompa-loompa''s.

The formula for water consumption is .6 ounces per lb. of bodyweight.
I get about 2 gallons per day in ... about a gallon of that is when I am in the gym. LOL. I get sooooo thirsty during my sets. I drink a 32 ounce bottle of water between exercises ... yes, I am that guy at the gym ... always at the water fountain filling his bottle.
I let those without bottles cut in on me to get their quick drink though. I am a water hog, but a curteous one. :)
