GOOD MORNING!! How's the weather?

happy friday everybody!! the board's very quiet this morning. is everyone still asleep? i guess on the west coast you are! my work week ends on thursday, so i'm home today. i plan on doing my friday housework most of the day. it's sunny right now, but we've got a 90% chance of rain. temps to rise to about 20C. what's the weather like where you are? let the weekend BEGIN!!!:D

It is gorgeous here in Philadelphia..... going up to about 90 degrees. HOWEVER, I can't enjoy it because I am stuck inside my cubicle. Somehow the flourescent lighting just isn't cutting it!! :)

Mid-20s in my part of England, without a cloud in the sky! 2 hours until quittin' time and then maybe a few cool ones on the quay-side! Of course I mean water!

:p Hi Everyone! Its Beautiful Here in Little Waller Texas its BEAUTIFUL! Nice an cool this morning. Our rain is pretty much over we got it last night {hail too}. We are already dreading the summers here cause it is already been in the HIGH 90's!

I am pretty new to this Board...But I really Love it here! This seems to be a really great group of people. And I can tell you I cried most of the morning yesterday reading all the success stories! WOW! It really keeps my mind in the write place! THANK YOU!

Good Friday noon to everybody. It's sunny and mild here at the easternmost end of Lake Ontario, but the wind has just started to pick up, and clouds rolling in. Rain, more rain and thunderstorms ... I'd best make haste to get my downtown runnin' around done soon!

Actually, I HAD forgotten about the book! :o

But one of my problems is, with the bus strike I can't get out to UBC. Or, to be more precise, I do go out there, but my ride leaves immediately after we finish work, so if I take time to go to the library, I have to walk home (too far even for me). And we only take a few minutes off for lunch (means we can leave earlier), so I can't go then either.

Now, if you could drive me out there.....

Good Afternoon Everyone!

Here in Calgary it is warm but a bit overcast today. It is sooooooo dry here, we need rain desperately!:( We even have a fire ban on in the City and most surrounding areas. We haven't had any real moisture for weeks! It 's pretty bad. We would love to use our firepit in the backyard this weekend but unless we get a deluge of rain by the weekend it doesn't look promising! The poor grass is trying to turn green and the leaves are starting to bud but it's been a slow process. You can tell the folks who water their lawns and use fertilizer! Green....Brown (ours)! Apparently the snow pack up in the mountains is way down from previous years. That means our Bow river might be running low this summer. In turn that means there might be water sactions this summer. It really sucks! I hope it rains soon :) (Lots of grass fires lately:( )
