Has Anyone seen this product?

It claims to spot reduce underskin body fat. It seems similar to something that Duchaine eludes to in Body Opus regarding a Yohimbe based cream.

Thoughts?

It seems to be a rather interesting product. However, it is quite costly and I'm not going to buy a product that costs that much; that may or may not work. If you do decide to try it- keep me posted with the results.

I have used it with good local fat losses (fatty chest and love handles) but I have not used it with a ketogenic diet. Though it is supposed to be better while ketogenic. I am actually bulking again so I am not low carbing right now, but when I do I will try it with CKD.

Are you guys talking about dermail? This is Epidril gel. It supposedly stimulates the fat cells over the skin where it is applied to release fatty acids into the blood stream, which can be used for energy.

-No, we're talking about 'Yohimburn' (duh... heh). More information can be found at its' site-

Buy some 5mg yohimbine hcl caps from a supplement supplier, then buy some liquid aloe vera (the real deal, not the banana boat gel stuff), then buy either some plastic wrap & Ben Gay type cream (the menthol is the thing here) or Icy Hot patches.

Either open up an Icy hot patch and sprinkle the contents of 4 of the yo' caps on it, or get your pastic wrap and brush on some Ben Gay creeam and then sprinkle the yo' on it.

Prep your selected fatty deposit with an alcohol wipe, then a little aloe vera.

Slap on your patch or wrap. If using wrap, you will have to secure the "wrap patch" somehow. I usually just wrapped more plastic around it (usually my waist since I was using it on my abs).

I have found it best to do this before bed, since you may not want to go to work making the squeaky plastic wrap noise ... but if you are using the Icy Hot patch, you should be good anytime.

The alcohol, menthol, and aloe are all carriers that will help the yo' get absorbed by the skin.

I am going to start with the Icy patches within a week or so, just to finish up my cycle on the right note. LOL.

All of the stuff listed above is readily available, is ALOT cheaper than Cutting Gel or Yohimburn, and will last longer.

If you can't find yo' hcl in caps, www.supplementdirect.com carries it. And I gain nothing by sharing that with you all. They do good business and ship promptly.

OK Dan, on your advice I'm heading to the supplement store and slapping that stinky stuff on my thighs tonight. How many "treatments" do you do, and how much effect do you see?

trainerdan,

maybe my math is off but there are 3.5g of yohimbine hcl in yohimburn. the equivalent of 700 of those 5mg caps.

I have used the pure yohimbine hcl powder with aloe and aspercreme and it is a good combination, but yohimburn was a lot more effective and easier.

besides isnt like most of those caps filler material? 5mg is not a lot of powder.

Zeus and JD, thanks for the input. After doing the math, Yohimburn is a better buy, assuming it does contain the level of Yo' HCL that it calls for ... but based on your experience it sounds as if it does. I have never used any of their products. Maybe I'll give them a test run and see what happens ...

Since the bottle is 4 oz, and it contains 3.5g of yohimbine, that means 70 doses (at 50mg poer dose as the label states). That's pretty good for $70.

I like to tell people to start at 20 - 25 mg per app, then work up. I suppose you could just cut the dose of Yohimburn in half, but still, you have the measuring aspect to consider.

As for doses, Fernie, 20 - 25 mg per application and only one application at at time until you judge tolerance. You can go mulitple applications in a given day as long as you split them up (left thigh in the AM, right thigh in the PM).

A much better product is Lipoderm-y which has 6g of yohimbine hcl in a 8oz bottle, and much better penetration enhancers. You can also get it for $45 at 1fast400.com
