High Fiber Waffles

(you can make a dozen, and section them into 4 servings per waffle and place in zip lock freezer bags and take out as needed to micro-wave.)

Need a non-stick waffle iron. My favorite "Belgium Waffles"

Mix all in a large food processer*********

2 cups of almonds
1 cup of flax seeds
1/2 cup of sunflower seeds
1/3 cup of rice bran or oat bran
1/4 cup of Splenda
1/2 tsp. of salt
4 eggs
1/2 cup of light olive oil, or canola, sunflower
1/2 cup unsweetened applesauce
1/2 cup "low carb, vanilla WHEY or SOY" protein powder
1/2 to 1 cup of oat flour
2 tablespoons of vanilla
1/2 cup or more as needed of water to create a pancake
batter consistancy

* Spray waffle iron each time batter is added with a cooking spray. Once waffles are cool, place in zip-lock plastic baggies and into the freezer they go.
They are not "carb-free" BUT are LOW carb, high fiber and high protein. and leave you feeling very full and satisfied. Is great served with whip cream on top or some butter and more unsweetened applesauce.

are the almond and flax seed ground ? And what is the nutrional breakdown on this.

What kind of consistency do these have ? light or real heavy ?
