Hi Lessara,

Many of our experienced members are already mentors, but without the title :) But selected mentors, as shown in their titles, perform additional volunteer work to help us moderators behind closed doors.

Selected mentors are voted by moderators based on various criteria such as: Willingness to support other members (with what they want to know and/or need to know), good grasp & dedication to their plan, LC as a lifestyle not quick fix, aware of other LC plans, knows how to find resources, good attitude toward new and other LCers, etc.

There's actually quite a few candidates, and we start the process every now and then when there's a need.
